JANEANE GAROFALO JOINS CAST OF “24” FOR SEASON SEVEN
Emmy nominee Janeane Garofalo (“The Larry Sanders Show”) joins the cast of “24” as “Janis Gold,” an FBI systems analyst assigned to the team investigating the crisis befalling Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and company in the upcoming Season Seven.
The Emmy Award-winning series resets the clock for “Day 7” in January, Mondays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Garofalo’s voice is featured in the animated hit “Ratatouille” and “The Wild.” Her film credits also include “Wet Hot American Summer” and “The Truth about Cats & Dogs.” On television, she has been seen on such shows as “The West Wing,” “Strangers with Candy” and “Felicity.”
The highly anticipated seventh season of 24, starring Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland, promises to combine the show’s unique and trend-setting format with compelling new elements. Each episode again will cover one hour of real time, and the season’s entire story will take place in one day.
