After many false dawns when I thought I was going to be on the ground-breaking and consistently acclaimed Fox Network Show, 24, I am pleased to announce that I have been cast to play the character Emerson in the second episode of the new season. I can honestly say I haven’t been as excited about a job since I left Drama school. I think this season has the makings of being the best yet—quite a prospect given the extraordinarily high standard of this show. I am relishing the chance to work with some of the finest talents in the industry, particularly rekindling my association with Executive Producers Jon Cassar and Howard Gordon.
Wingfield was originally supposed to play the character of James Nathanson in the early episodes of 24 Season 5 but was unable to because of visa/work permit issues.
