July 9, 2010 at 1:04 amThis is exactly how I felt last year at the Emmy’s when Simon Baker was nominated for best actor. Mentalist is a show that should come on in the summer. It wouldn’t win any awards but it’s entertaining. The acting wouldn’t be great but passable. That’s how I felt with Simon Baker. He’s not a bad actor, but he certainly doesn’t belong in the Emmy catagorie IMO
Kiefer deserved 1 final run at winning an Emmy. Even though this season wasn’t the strongest, Kiefer acted the hell out of it. He kept his character grounded throughout the entire series! This season, we saw Jack’s character go full circle. We finally got some clarity of who Jack Bauer was and his cause and will to fight.
I’m sorry for my word choices, but this completely pissed me off! I can’t believe the Emmy’s screwed us over AGAIN. Especially since it’s 24’s last year on television. That’s complete and utter bulls///t! *sigh*
I guess I’ll just have my own Emmy awards at home then…
TWIN 2
July 9, 2010 at 6:55 amI felt JACK BAUER’S acting was outstanding! Every scene was intense. Can’t believe they overlooked his tremendous performance. WHO makes these decisions? amateurs or disgruntled, jealous peers? Who wants to watch the EMMY’S and their poor choices. Now that 24 is gone there is NOTHING worth watching on TV until FOOTBALL SEASON. Bring on the movie.

July 9, 2010 at 4:53 pmMare Winningham would have been a great addition to Guest Actress but I don’t think her name was submitted at all by either Fox or herself. Necar Zadegan was on the ballot but alas, she was overlooked and bumped by another baity/lazy Law & Order: SVU nom.
