Aghdashloo dished that she clashed with the famed actor and she suspects he may have had a role in her character being killed off the series.
“I’m afraid working with him proved to be hard. That young man was pretty angry,” she said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.” “At the end of the day, I thought he was angry with himself.”
She said her character’s death was not initially part of the show’s course.
“The plot changed. I have a feeling that he did [have a role in my departure].”
She said her role as a terrorist, which lasted for 12 episodes, also raised some issues with people in her home country.
“Some Iranians were unhappy with the role,” she explained. “I kept telling them that the reason I accepted the role wasn’t political at all.”
She said she took the controversial role because it was complex and challenging.
