24 showrunner Howard Gordon has tweeted a picture of the 24: Live Another Day script cover which reveals the first episode takes place between 12:00PM – 1:00PM Per an earlier Jon Cassar tweet, we know the second hour takes place 1:00PM – 2:00PM. This means the two hour premiere on May 5th takes place entirely in real time with no hours being skipped in-between.
As with the other script, it seems producers are referring to this as “Day 9” internally. The first hour was written by Manny Coto and Evan Katz and is being directed by Jon Cassar.

24 Spoilers
January 24, 2014 at 2:34 amThey shoot two episodes at a time (out of sequence I believe), so if there’s going to be a significant time jump it would most likely occur at the end of an episode pair (4, 6, 8, or 10). I think that makes the most sense from a production standpoint.
It’ll be very interesting to see how they handle this.
