Yvonne Strahovski in the July 14th issue of TV Guide Magazine (page 36):
Time is running out on 24: Live Another Day. With the world on the brink of another all-out war, CIA field operative Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski) is forced to face her own demons, Including a betrayal by former boss Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt), who framed her deceased husband for selling information to the Chinese. We grilled Strahovski on the top secret finale.
Where do we find Kate in the final hour?
Well, the s–t is going to hit the fan. [Laughs] Her professional world and her personal world are going to collide. Everything will come out in the open, and it’s going to give her more drive than we’ve seen her have. Things get intense, emotional. This being 24, is it safe to assume a game-changing twist?
We’re actually doing a musical for the finale – we thought we’d try something new! [Laughs] Yes, there’s going to be a lot of action and some dramatic twists, and not everyone is going to make it In the end.Does Kate’s kinship with Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) stay strong?
They’re still working together. You normally don’t trust a lot of people in that line of work, which is why it’s so beautiful that they really trust each other. I think she’s starting to see their similarities and look up to him as someone she respects. If 24 continues past this season, would you be interested in returning?
I would never say never-anything is possible. Especially with how things end, you can really go a lot of directions with the show. I don’t know what they have planned, but it would be interesting to see another 12-episode arc in a different city where we can explore a storyline based on that culture.

Completely agree with that, sad thing is they wont.

You mean like you did with LAD? Essentially turning London into a 51st US state where the Americans so arrogantly call the shots over the natives?
The one thing I’d wish for now is for there to be absolutely no White House – or hell, even an agency- story should 24 ever come back. Yes, if there absolutely had to be a president for LAD, Heller was the only choice, plus they still had a story to tell with him and Audrey. I pray to god they never introduce a new one in the future.
