Each 24 drone will have a camera that will record video of each person’s flight experience, and participants will be asked to share their video on social media using the hashtag #24Drones.
Should any drones go missing, we have received reports that Jack Bauer will be in the area to recover them.
The state-of-the-art DJI Phantom Vision 2+ quadrocopters, will fly throughout the day beginning Thursday, July 24 and culminating on Sunday, July 27.

WHERE:
Petco Park Interactive Zone

WHY:
Throughout nine adrenaline-fueled seasons, legendary hero Jack Bauer (Emmy® Award-winning Kiefer Sutherland) used a plethora of weaponry and wisdom to combat his enemies. In “24: Live Another Day” he encounters a group of skillful hackers capable of hijacking combat drones and turning them into a terrorist threat. Now, these lessons will give fans the unique opportunity to fly a DJI Phantom Vision 2+ quadrocopter, the latest in small-unmanned aerial systems, giving them the power to control the drones and to “Live Another Day!”
WHAT:
The DJI Phantom Vision 2+ quadrocopter is one of many drones created by DJI, the global leader in developing and manufacturing small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) for commercial and recreational use. The company is dedicated to making aerial photography and filmmaking more reliable and easier to use for creators and innovators. Customers have chosen DJI’s revolutionary products and solutions across the globe for applications in film, advertising, fire fighting, farming, and many other industries.

July 24, 2014 at 9:54 amWith everything going on in Gaza I don’t know if this is just an innocent little publicity bit or a strategic reminder that there is still a place in today’s world under terror for a character like Jack Bauer…thus leading to 24: Season 10!

July 24, 2014 at 9:21 am– The use of drones is justified
– Edward Snowdon is wrong
– Russia is evil. No, not just one Russian is evil and a disgrace to his country – the whole country is evil.
The political soapboxing has never been as bad as this, I suggest for season 10 they get the hell off it and focus on the revolutionary idea of good, original storytelling.
